Europos Parkas (European Park) is in only 19 km from Vilnius, a huge open-air contemporary museum, covering 55 hectares of forests, landscapes. It’s a good way to spend a good afternoon walking, enjoying the weather and discovering the perfect merge between nature and contemporary art. More than 100 works of art carried by international artists are setting there. The most popular is the monument representing the center of Europe, built by Mr. Gintaras Karosas. This famous and talented artist is the creator of this stunning landscape, founded in 1991.

Open daily, there are some guided tours in Russian, Lithuanian and English, you also can enjoy with the museum restaurant and find a souvenirs shop.

How to get there

1. You can go there by bus with the number 146, and it costs only 3,60 Litas / 1 Euro (one way). Bus departs from Zalgirio Stop at Kalvariju Street (the bus stop just in front of the “New York” building ans MAXIMA shop ahead), you just have to tell to the conductor where you go and he lets you off just in front of the Park entrance.

2. If you prefer go there by car, you have to go along the Kalvariju street, follow the direction of Green Lakes on your right and continue with the EUROPOS PARKAS signs.
